Step 1: Applicants should send an e-mail expressing their interest to GGI@emdserono.com. They will then receive an automatic reply inviting them to complete a letter of intent and a brief description of their research project.
Step 2: Applicants should submit their completed grant application form and details of their project to GGI@emdserono.com. In response, they will receive an acknowledgement of the completion of their submission, which concludes the initial application process.
Please note: We would like to draw your attention to the stipulations listed in the program description and rules page. In particular, that the research must not involve any products of EMD Serono, a business of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, testing of competitor products, or interventional clinical studies.
If the applicant does not receive a request to complete the grant application form and/or the acknowledgement email, they must assume that their application has not been received by the GGI administrator. In this instance, the applicant should resubmit their initial enquiry to GGI@emdserono.com.
